The HOBET is now an admissions requirement!


Effective in 2008, all students seeking admission to the Department of Radiologic Sciences Educational Programs will be required to take the Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test (HOBET). This is a computerized test that measures student ability in seven key areas. Students can read more about the test at the HOBET website, http://www.eriworld.com/hobet.asp.

What, When, and Where

Fill out a registration form at Student Affairs (912-344-2582) located in Memorial College Center
The test can be taken on Wednesdays at 9:00 am and 5:00 pm
The test can be taken once
The cost of the test is $30.00
Students who are from outside of Savannah may come to AASU to take the HOBET or go to another testing center in their area

Examination Results

Test results for students who begin their studies in June, 2009 will be used for research. For this group of students there will not be a minimum score requirement. Test results for students seeking summer of 2009 admission should reach AASU"s Department of Radiologic Sciences no later than January 10, 2009.
